CurtainTheatre at Baddow, which was formed in 1982, hold their productions at Great Baddow Parish Hall, Chelmsford.

Originally, a variety of shows was undertaken from Pantomime, Old Time Music Hall, Comedy and Drama. However, since the early 90's the group has concentrated on plays to try to improve the quality of the shows. This has been reflected by the increase in audiences, generally good reviews from the critics and a number of awards.

Although the group continually strives for improvement and remembers "it is only as good as its last performance", there is still a fun element in everything they do and much enjoyment is had. There is also a social events programme throughout the year.

Theatre at Baddow are always on the lookout for talent and new members are made to feel most welcome. They perform three productions a year, in January, May and October.
