Roxwell Primary School ChelmsfordRoxwell Primary School in Chelmsford caters for pupils of mixed gender between the ages of 4 and 11. Based 4 miles outside of Chelmsford, it is a small village school with under a hundred pupils, who are taught in mixed aged classes. In the last Ofsted report in 2010, the school was classed as ‘good ‘.

The aims and philosophy of Roxwell Primary School in Chelmsford is to provide a safe and happy environment, offer equal academic opportunities on all levels, and to enable all children to fulfil their potential to the best of their ability. As a Church of England school, they believe in ‘strong moral teaching'.

Under the guidance of the national curriculum, Roxwell Primary School in Chelmsford covers most subjects including, Art, Design Technology, Citizenship, History, Science, Geography, RE, & French. They also have a strong ICT department which is integrated to enhance the teaching of other subjects such as Music. There is also a strong extra-curricular programme.

On its website, Headteacher, Mr. Peter Wadsworth, states pupils at Roxwell Primary School "are encouraged to try and do their very best" and to appreciate the efforts and values of their fellow classmates. He goes on to say that they welcome parents becoming involved with the school and that it creates a valued partnership between the school, parents, pupils, church, and the local community.

Roxwell Primary School in Chelmsford is located four miles West of Chelmsford town centre, in The Street, just off the Bishop's Stortford Road.
