Chelmsford Volleyball Club

Chelmsford Volleyball Club is based at Anglia Ruskin University Sports Hall and play both standing and sitting volleyball. They cater for virtually all age groups & abilities and welcome anyone who is looking to start, improve, learn or play volleyball.

Formed in 2005, Chelmsford Volleyball Club is affiliated to Volleyball England and compete in the Essex League as well as Cup competitions. They were also the first in Essex to proudly achieve Volley 1 club accreditation, being volleyball's equivalent of Sport England's Clubmark.

All Chelmsford Volleyball Club home sessions take place on Thursdays in the Mildmay Building at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford as follows.....

Between September and April...
1900-1945 - Beginners and improvers coached training (standing and sitting)
1945-2030 - Social volleyball games (standing and sitting)
2030 - Matchdays warm up time. If no match then...
2030-2100 - Social volleyball games will continue
2100-2230 - Advanced training with usually some match play at the end.

During the months of May and June, there is a more relaxed playing schedule.

If you would like to come along for a FREE first session and give this fantastic & exciting Olympic & Paralympic sport of volleyball a try, then please get in touch. All balls, nets and equipment other than your own personal kit will be provided.
