Musical NotesChelmsford Silver Band, which was formed in 1950, rehearse on Wednesday evenings at the Broomfield Methodist Church Hall in Chelmsford.  

The band currently has 25 playing members but is always on the look out for new players. At the current time they are in need of bass players, trombonists and a tenor horn player. We are a friendly, informal band and would be pleased to welcome anyone who would like to join us.

As a group of amateur musicians we enjoy playing traditional brass band music and entertaining audiences. We are available for hire to play for charitable organisations, churches, weddings, garden fetes, fund raising events, etc.
