Chelmsford Pantomime 2011 - Sleeping BeautyChelmsford Pantomime 2011 will be the most well known & enchanting fairy tale of all, Sleeping Beauty and will once again be staged by the production company, ‘One From The Heart', in association with Chelmsford Civic Theatre.

Held at the larger of the towns theatres, the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford Pantomime 2011 will be taking to the stage between 2nd December 2011 and 2nd January 2012. It is sure to
captivate audiences of all ages with laughter, magic, music & dance, and as with any pantomime, there is bound to be plenty of audience participation and fun for the whole family.

Tickets for the Chelmsford Pantomime range from £15 to £18 with special rates for families, schools and groups. There is also a Gala Opening of Sleeping Beauty on 2nd December 2011 when tickets are only £11 each. Due the popularity of the last four Chelmsford pantomimes, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk, you are advised to book your tickets early (box office is open for pantomime tickets from 1st October 2011) to make sure you get your preferred date.

A Letter From Santa


Cinderella on Ice ChelmsfordIn addition to the main Chelmsford Pantomime, there is also the fantastic spectacular of Cinderella on Ice talking place at the Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre in Chelmsford in the run up until Christmas. Performances start on Wednesday 15th December and continue until Sunday 18th December, with matinee shows on both weekend dates. Ticket prices start at £5 for a child restricted view seat up to £16 for an adult stage seat.

Wizard of Oz Pantomime Galleywood ChelmsfordA little further afield in January 2012, there will be a chance for you and the family to catch the Wizard of Oz turned into a fun filled family pantomime. Staged by the Galleywood Theatre Company and held in the Keene Hall, the Wizard of Oz will be taking to the stage on Saturday 21st January 2012 & Sunday 22nd January 2012 for both a matinee and evening performance each day. With lots of singing, dancing, booing, cheering & even flying monkeys, the whole family is sure to have a great time.
