Chelmsford City Football Club, known affectionately by their supporters as 'The Clarets', are Essex's largely undiscovered football sleeping giant. Ready to awaken and take this season's Blue Square Conference South by storm, they are looking to progress Chelmsford football to the top tier of the non-league game.
Supported by a fantastic Chairman, Mansell Wallace, the ultimate goal would be for Chelmsford City Football Club to become a member of the Coca-Cola Football League. This would have the effect of finally putting Chelmsford football and the County Town of Essex on England's footballing map!
